Singapore: NDT Sales Assistant Manager
Job Summary:
Dynamic role in fast growing environment, the Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible to develop and maintain business relationship and network for the NDT market in designated region. Participate in the formulation of measureable action plan and marketing plan aligned with global sales team and provide guidance to both local sales team and overseas distributors towards the achievement of sustainable growth while maintaining profitability in line with company goals and objectives
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Strategic role in leading sales and market development efforts to develop business relationships and network in Asia-Pacific region
•Further develop channel network both horizontally and vertically to achieve a sustainable growth
•Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
•Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors updates
•Make an accurate sales forecast and enforcing organization standards
•Negotiate contracts and packages
•Provide support and guidance for channel partners on customer’s requirement and involve regional/global experts as needed
•Provide directions and support for development and implementation of action plans and marketing plans
•Frequent visit existing and potential customers to promote Olympus NDT products
•Respond to all inquiries and support requests in a timely manner, schedule necessary customer visits based upon direct customer interaction and distributors’ request
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
•Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
•Ability to work in a fast pace environment
•Ability to organize and prioritize
•Good understanding of SEA region working culture and behaviors
•Good understanding of SEA region NDT market preferred
•Ability to work independently as well as a team player in a dynamic environment
